Whether you’re a hardcore fan or a casual spectator, our campsites offer the perfect blend of convenience and comfort for an unforgettable race weekend.

The campsites are strategically situated within close proximity to the Hungaroring circuit, allowing you to easily access all the racing action without hassle.

If your group includes a mix of vehicles or consists of more than four people, we suggest booking one arrangement for every four individuals. Start by completing the payment for one arrangement, then repeat this process for each additional arrangement you’d like to book using our website. This ensures a smooth booking experience tailored to your group’s needs.

*The campsites offered by Race Experience are event campsites. This means that, in terms of comfort and facilities, these campsites can never be compared to standard campsites. For example, the pitches are smaller, temporary sanitary facilities (containers) are frequently used, and there may be more noise disturbance than you are accustomed to. The Race Experience team is not present at the campsite to assist you with any campsite-related issues (such as no water or electricity). For these matters, the campsite reception is your first point of contact.

FORMULA 1 Hungary – Highlights of this FORMULA 1® Package:

  • Camping pitch for maximum 4 persons;
  • Space for a single tent, caravan or camper (1 item on 1 pitch);

Campsite Zengo

Below, you’ll find essential information about Camping Zengo. It’s important to note that an F1 camping site, in terms of comfort and amenities, differs significantly from a standard camping site. Temporary (sanitary) facilities will be in use extensively, and it’s essential to be aware that the camping site is not managed by Race Experience Ltd.

This campsite is an excellent choice for families due to its tranquil location. The camping site features showers with both cold and hot water, along with toilet facilities. It is fully equipped with electricity, and additional amenities include washing areas with water for activities like dishwashing. Security at the camping site is ensured by staff proficient in English and German.

 

Campsite I

Below you will find the necessary information for Camping I. Please note, an F1 campsite is never comparable to a regular campsite in terms of comfort and facilities. Temporary (sanitary) facilities will be heavily used. The campsite is not managed by Race Experiences Ticketing B.V.

Camping I is the largest Formula 1 campsite during the Hungarian Grand Prix. Due to the vast area of the campsite, the size of a pitch can sometimes exceed 50 m2. For convenience, consider a pitch size of 40 m2. The campsite is located on the west side of the circuit, near the Chicane grandstands. However, all other grandstands are within walking distance.

The entire campsite is fenced with a gate and there is also a 24-hour security service, ensuring a safe overnight stay. Additionally, there will be a doctor on site throughout the weekend.

The campsite offers showers with hot and cold running water, toilets, electricity connections, and a vast area perfect for leisure activities. Meals are provided buffet-style on site. In the immediate vicinity, there are also many restaurants where hot meals can be purchased.

In the evenings, the most popular films from recent years are shown, usually in English and German.

Campsite II

Below you will find the necessary information for Camping II. Please note, an F1 campsite is never comparable to a regular campsite in terms of comfort and facilities. Temporary (sanitary) facilities will be heavily used. The campsite is not managed by Race Experiences Ticketing B.V.

Camping II is the ideal campsite if you have tickets for the following grandstands: Super Gold, Gold 1-5, and Silver 3-4-6-7. The campsite is located at the back of the main grandstand, allowing you to quickly reach the location.

It is a fairly large campsite, so you can expect spacious pitches. Expect pitches between 40 m2 and 50 m2. The entire campsite is fenced with a gate and there is also a 24-hour security service, ensuring a safe overnight stay. Additionally, there will be a doctor on site throughout the weekend.

The campsite offers showers with hot and cold running water, toilets, electricity connections, and a vast area perfect for leisure activities. Furthermore, there is a shop on site with all the necessities guests may need for their daily needs such as toiletries and food and drinks.

Campsite Aqua

Below you will find the necessary information for Camping Aqua. Please note, an F1 campsite is never comparable to a regular campsite in terms of comfort and facilities. Temporary (sanitary) facilities will be heavily used. The campsite is not managed by Race Experiences Ticketing B.V.

This temporary campsite is located in the Aquapark next to the circuit. Access to the Aquapark itself is not included in the price. However, the location of the campsite offers the opportunity to stay just a stone’s throw away from a whopping 26 water slides.

The campsite is located on the west side of the circuit, near the Bronze grandstands. However, all other grandstands are within walking distance.

It is a guarded campsite and features showers with both cold and hot water, as well as toilets. The campsite is also fully equipped with electricity. You can avail yourself of some dining options that belong to the Aquapark.

Electricity: €18 per night, payable on-site.

Tourist tax: Approximately €2 per person per night, payable on-site.

Campsite Gold Panorama

Below you will find the necessary information for Camping Gold. Please note, an F1 campsite is never comparable to a regular campsite in terms of comfort and facilities. Temporary (sanitary) facilities will be heavily used. The campsite is not managed by Race Experience Ticketing B.V.

This campsite is located near gate 8, gate 8 will also be open during the public pit walk on Thursday, allowing you to easily take advantage of this unique opportunity.

The campsite has showers with cold and hot water and toilets. The campsite is fully equipped with electricity. The campsite offers a magnificent view over the Hungaroring valley and is therefore very popular. The campsite is secured by English and German-speaking staff. There are various dining options located nearby.

FORMULA 1® tickets

Important Ticket Info – Hungarian Grand Prix 2026

  • You are guaranteed to sit together if you order tickets for the same grandstand, for the same days, in one order.

  • Most tickets are 3-day passes.

  • Sunday-only (race day) tickets are also available at ~10% discount compared to 3-day passes.

  • Almost all grandstands at the Hungaroring have numbered seats and a view of a big TV screen.

  • Parking at the circuit is free for all ticket holders.

T1 / Pit Exit

Located at Turn 1, the T1 Grandstand offers the best view of Turn 1—one of the few overtaking spots on the Hungaroring. It’s considered one of the best grandstands on the circuit. The Pit Exit Grandstand sits slightly further away from Turn 1, meaning T1 usually delivers more race action.

Hungaroring / Hungaroring Platinum
The Hungaroring Grandstand is the Main Grandstand, located on the main straight. It offers excellent views of the race start and pit lane. The Hungaroring Platinum Grandstand is higher up and covered, providing a wider view and extra comfort.

Grid 1/2/3
All three Grid Grandstands are next to each other at the start of the main straight. They provide good views of Turn 14, as well as the podium and pit lane.

Grand Prix 1/2
These grandstands are positioned at the end of the main straight. From here you can see Turn 14 and the pit lane.

Apex 1/2
Located around Turn 14, the Apex Grandstands provide great views of Turns 12, 13, and 14. Apex 1 gives the best view of Turn 14, while Apex 2 offers a better view of Turn 12.

Chicane 1/2/3
Found between Turns 5 and 6:

  • Chicane 2: Best view of Turn 5.

  • Chicane 1: Best view of Turns 6 and 7.

  • Chicane 3: The most complete view, covering Turns 5, 6, and 7.

General Admission (Standing Areas)
The Hungaroring is set in a natural valley, meaning GA areas are elevated and provide fantastic panoramic views—especially between Turns 9 and 14. Many grassy GA zones are located on hills behind the grandstands, with the best area being around Turn 14. This spot is often ranked in the top 3 General Admission zones on the entire F1 calendar. You can see large sections of the track, including the start grid. A pair of binoculars is highly recommended

General tips

We recommend bringing sunscreen and, optionally, an umbrella to the circuit for sun protection and the possibility of rain. If you have General Admission tickets, consider bringing a camping chair and/or a blanket for comfortable seating on the grass. Photography is permitted, as long as it doesn’t obstruct the view of other spectators. Don’t forget to pack an extra battery and memory card for your camera!
